At Rapid Eats, our journey began right here in Springfield, Ohio—with a simple but powerful idea: what if food delivery didn’t just take from local businesses, but actually helped them thrive?

Founded by Jordan Powell, a proud Springfield native and small business advocate, Rapid Eats was born out of frustration with national delivery platforms that charge excessive commissions, raise menu prices, and strip profits from the very restaurants that fuel our communities. Jordan envisioned something different—a platform built for small towns, not just big cities.

But that vision didn’t come to life alone. Rapid Eats is powered by a passionate team dedicated to making a difference:

• Shanon Couch, Chief Operating Officer, who ensures our day-to-day operations run smoothly and merchants and drivers are supported every step of the way.

• Tyra Powell, Chief Human Resource Officer, who leads with heart—ensuring our team and independent contractors are cared for, trained, and growing with us.

• Heather Carder, Chief Business Development Officer, who drives our growth by forming powerful local partnerships and helping expand our impact across the region.

We launched Rapid Eats to uplift local businesses by offering a flat delivery fee, low commission rates, and menu prices that closely reflect what you'd pay in-store, with limited markups. We provide local drivers with a fair earning opportunity and customers with a better, more affordable alternative.

But Rapid Eats is more than just food delivery—it’s a movement. A movement to:
